Include bulb diameter, skin condition, trimming, packing weight and quantity as well. Colour alone does not define the proposed grade or pack.

Does a bag weight define onion size?

No. Net bag weight and bulb diameter are separate specifications. Confirm both and state any tolerance required by your buyer.

Can the supplier quote red and yellow onions together?

Include both in your inquiry with separate quantities and specifications. Availability and the proposed packing schedule are reviewed for each line.
